I have a very bad habit of starting books and having to return them before I actually finish them. I also have been in a weird slump were I totally want to read and I might even read a few pages but then it just sits there to be possibly never touched again. I thought it would be fun to show you what is currently sitting in limbo, i mean on my shelf.
1. Certain Dark Things by Silvia Moreno Garcia
I am actually reading this is. I’m about 50% through and I am enjoying it. It’s a different take on vampires and it is full of culture-rich folklore and I am here for it. Currently overdue by a few days but I’m okay with it.
2. Beneath the Citadel by Destiny Soria
I am about 60% through with this one and I just want to say I love the way Soria writes characters. I am going to be reading all of her books. This is book 2 of hers you should check them out.
3. The Modern Guide to Witchcraft by Skye Alexander
I got to page 75 and then I had to return it so this will have to be checked out again.
4. Monstress Vol 2 by Marjorie Liu
I honestly think I read about 3 pages but haven’t picked it back up yet only because I’ve been trying to finish my other books.
5. Nevernight by Jay Kristoff
I haven’t updated my goodreads on it but I know I’ve read at least a few chapters. It’s really interesting and I need to get back to it.
6. How to Kiss a Flower Girl (and Live) by Kennedy Cannon
I haven’t gotten very far into it yet but so far it’s super cute. I need to make this a priority to get back too.
7. Obsidio by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman
This series is so cool and I am ashamed I haven’t finished it. It’s been on my currently reading shelf the longest. I had to return it before I finished it and I’m only 100 pages in. I will finish this before the year is over on my honor.
Does your currently reading shelf get a little crazy? I’d love to know if this happens to anyone else.
