WWW Wednesday 4/20/22

Hello! I am determined to get back into blogging for more than a month so maybe if I do some weekly themes/memes it’ll help me out. I logged in for the first time in forever to find out today is my 7 year anniversary on wordpress and I didn’t even think it’d been half that long already. My twitterversary was last week and that was 10 years. How it’s been that long on either is a mystery to me because it feels both longer and not long enough if that makes sense.

WWW Wednesday is a weekly reading update hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

Love After Love by Ingrid Persaud and Amari and the Night Brothers by B.B Alston both are bookclub reads for Pages and Prose and I’m really excited about them. Amari, I started with my kids so it’ll be a while before I finish but I’m almost half way through Love After Love and really enjoying that story.

What did you recently finish?

Death at High Tide by Hannah Dennison and Animal Rescue Friends by Gina Loveless, Meika Hashimoto, and Genevieve Kote. I really liked both of these. Death at High Tide is a fun cozy mystery full of twists and secrets and Animal Rescue Friends is an adorable graphic novel about friendship.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Up next for me is probably going to be Witchlings by Claribel Ortega and Minor Detail by Adania Shibli . Witchlings is a Pages and Prose pick too and one of my most anticipated books for the year. Minor Detail is on my tbr for the following reading challenges Around the World!, Directory of Asian Books [Asian Readathon], The International Booker Prize 2021 longlist, and The StoryGraph Reads the World 2022.

Let me know what you’ve been reading in the comments. Have you read these? What are your thoughts?

❤ Lo
